The Start of the Visit

Before your vision check, our team will ask you about your medical history and about any symptoms you have that are related to your vision. The first set of tests you will receive will check your visual acuity, how well you can see. These tests will ask you to read letters on an eye chart, which is posted on a wall across from you. Your visual acuity level will be written as a fraction.  For example, normal vision is typically written as 20/20. Testing Your Eye Health

During the next set of tests, our team will compare the size and placement of your pupils. We will measure how quickly your pupils react to light and motion.
